UCOM is open, but for the safety of our workers, our volunteers, and our neighbors we will continue to with our call-ahead ordering and pick up services for the food pantry for the time being. If you are in need of food and live within the UCOM service area please call during our pantry hours 616-241-4006. If you do not live in the UCOM service area or you do not know where your local pantry is located, please call the United Way's 211 Hotline.  

The UCOM farmstand is now open and farm fresh local produce can now be purchased by calling ahead and setting a pick-up time.

UCOM's Workforce Development program is still working with clients, but meetings are being conducted by phone.

Who Can Visit the Pantry?

UCOM is a part of the Access of West Michigan network of food pantries and is one of 11 Key Resource Centers for Kent County. Anyone living within the UCOM service area is eligible to receive food at our Healthy Choice Food Pantry.

 

The UCOM service area includes the Roosevelt Park and Black Hills Neighborhoods of Southwest Grand Rapids, the city of Wyoming west of US 131, and the city of Grandville.
