In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have made the decision to postpone the Friends of UCOM Benefit Concert until further notice. We want the very best for our community. Your health and well-being are of the utmost importance to us. This decision was made after the confirmation of COVID-19 cases in Michigan and Gov. Whitmer discouraging events of 100+ people, after declaring a state of emergency, and schools throughout the state being closed for the coming weeks.
We know you share our compassion for the well-being of neighbors and the community. While the concert is postponed, neighbors need YOU, the Friends of UCOM, now more than ever!
- Area children are out of school for the next month. Many rely on school meals and their families may turn to UCOM for additional support.
- Many neighbors work low-wage jobs and do not receive paid time off for sick leave. They are already resource-constrained and may need additional assistance in the coming weeks and months.
If you’ve already purchased a ticket, thank you! Your ticket purchase will be honored when the concert is rescheduled. If you have not yet bought your ticket, we ask that you do now, or make an additional donation to UCOM as we walk alongside this community in times of uncertainty and increased need.
Send your neighbors a message that you stand with them as a Friend of UCOM and donate today.
Stay tuned to your email, our website, and social media for updates about the concert and services at UCOM. Thank you for your support of neighbors in this challenging time!
